simsolengsol was founded in late 2018 by a group of senior process engineers who had spent careers inside operating companies, EPC firms and software vendors. They shared one observation: process simulation, the discipline at the heart of plant design and operation, was being treated as a side practice almost everywhere.

We set out to build the opposite — an independent firm where simulation is not a service line bolted onto a bigger offering, but the entire company. Every project, from a one-week troubleshooting study to a multi-year digital twin programme, is led by an engineer for whom simulation is a craft, not a CV bullet point.

Independence is more than a marketing line. We do not resell any software, we hold no equity in any vendor and we publish our model decisions in plain English so clients can audit our judgment. That is what lets refiners, operators and EPCs trust us with the studies their plants actually depend on.

Independence does not mean isolation. We are registered vendors and delivery partners of AVEVA and Schneider Electric, and we have delivered projects for operators including SABIC, ADNOC, HPCL, QatarEnergy, Adani Power and YPF — both as prime consultant and through OEM partner subcontracts. Platform fluency, applied on the client's side of the table.

And every engagement ends with a deliberate handover. Our clients receive the model, the documentation and structured training so their own engineers can keep using and improving it. The work travels with you long after our team has left site.

What we stand for

Four working principles.

01 · Independent

Vendor-neutral by design

We do not resell software, take referral fees or hold vendor equity.

02 · Rigorous

Models you can audit

Every assumption documented; every deliverable peer-reviewed before it ships.

03 · Generous

Knowledge transfer included

Walk-throughs, written rationale and structured training in every project.

04 · Practical

Plant-first thinking

Models exist to support decisions on real units — never as academic exercises.
